Thermocouples
Extended temperature range measurements

Thermocouples are metal wires of two different compositions that are welded together. The physics of the metal generate a small voltage (the SeeBeck voltage) that depends on the temperature and type of metals chosen.

Using the  DS2760, temperature and voltage can be measured. When linked to a thermocouple, an extended temperature range can be sensed.
